So, it’s been a while since I posted on here. The miles have dropped from ~40pcw to 15-20pcw, the work situation is a little more steady, the new baby is awesome, and we’ve moved from London to Lytham St Anne’s.
So yeah. Lots happening in the life of a once-prolific mileage addict.
I just wanted to let you all know that my proposed #MWTCR record attempt has been placed on hold for now… what that means is that due to my time commitments, lack of training, and inability to travel back for NYE, I am postponing the run until Summer 2018. In order to make a good go of the run, I feel like I need to be able to commit to my training, I need to be able to re-run my planning sessions, I need to be able to re-find my mojo.
Hopefully, with family move to the NW of England, I’ll have more opportunities to run long, run wild, and run without an end goal. Exactly the mindset that got me 7 PRs in 2017.
Stay tuned for more info on MWTCR.
IN OTHER NEWS…
I’ve officially (according to my Strava) done 950 miles this year, my most ever, so I am hoping to round off 2017 with a 50-mile week to hit that golden K.
Until then… RUN LIKE YOU’RE NEVER GONNA STOP.
